recently bought this stanley clarke deluxe and want to check its authenticity.

Welcome to the forum.. Do you have any pics of the bass you can share with us ? Preferably front and back plus inside the electronics cavity so we can see if it has the original alembic gubbings inside.  
From the serial number it shows it's a 1993 Stanley Clarke signature bass

accent: Purpleheart laminate
body: Mahogany
back: Quilted Maple
neck: 5-piece Maple and Purpleheart
scale: 30.75 short
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals
side markers: aluminum dots
pickups: AXY
controls: volume, pan, filter x2, Q-switch x2, mono output
finish: polyester clear gloss
originally made for: Bass Centre, London
birthday: December 6, 1993
 
There is a previous registered owner in London.
