Here's the details of what I found out about your bass:
 
top: Flame Maple
accent: Purpleheart pinstripe
body: Mahogany
neck: 5-piece Maple with 4 Walnut pinstripes
scale: 34 long
fingerboard: Ebony
pickups: MXY56
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
originally made for: Guitar Showcase, San Jose, CA
birthday: October 15, 1999
 
This bass has not travelled far. The original owner was in California too!
