To anyone that can help, I have been trying to get the build history of my Alembic Persuader 5 String Bass, serial: 85P3760 for a few weeks now and have finally resorted to the alembic club. I wan't to sell this in Berlin but need more info on the bass to get the right price, eg. woods used, year of production etc.
-
Year of production will ne 1985- that's what the 85 at the beginning of the serial number stands for.
If you can post a picture, we'll most likely be able to identify the woods used and most of the pertinent details for you. There are a number of European members who will be able to help you figure out an appropriate price range.

Thanks tbrannon, will upload some images when I get a chance.

Hi tbrannon here are the images of my Persuader 5-String. As you mentioned, hopefully these will help with the information about the woods used.
