Hello, I am planning to buy a 1983 Distillate, serial: 83D2491. If possible would like to know more about its history. Thanks!

Arjen, Welcome to the forum. It is difficult to utilize these look-ups for purchase information due to the length of time required.  The complimentary service is done on a first come first serve basis and can take several months and beyond for results.  Once Mica is able to get to your request, and if the paper file is available, the information will certainly get posted.  Until then if you are able to post pictures many here can assist with further information. Hello Art. Thanks for your reply. I have added some pictures. Currently a two band Glockengang preamp is installed, but I will get the original preamp as well.

Hi, I just want to let you know that I bought the 1983 Distillate. It is in good shape, but needs some attention. The 29 year old bass still plays perfectly well; even with the Glockengang preamp.
