I would appreciate any information re Distillate # 82D2400.  I have been without an Alembic for WAY too long.

The person that owned the bass in 1984 faxed us (yes FAXED) in 1999 to make sure it was still registered to him.  
 
I heard from this bass in 2008, but just to clear up the model name.

I just picked this bass up off Reverb. I am amazed at how good a shape it is in for being 36 years old! It sounds, and plays, great.
