Title: Convert fretless back to fretted?

Hi, Is it hard to have a fretless (converted) bass made back into a fretted one again? Are there any issues doing this?

I've played a few basses that have been fretted, fretless, then fretted again. And they all played well. I would think that any good luthier could do the job without a hitch.
