Title: Replacement Bridge
Post by: markman on December 27, 2006, 06:28:08 AM
Hi,
I recently bought an old Series I (s/n: 78 1032). Unfortunately a previous owner replaced the original bridge with a Kahler tremolo, which absolutely does not fit on this instrument. It's unplayable. Is it possible to get a replacement bridge with sustain block and how much would it cost?
Another thing is that the bridge pickup has been replaced with a new one. I read here that you recommend to have a matching pair of pickup and that these would cost around 250$. Is this right?

Greetings from germany,
Markus

Hi Markus and welcome.
You may want to contact Mica directly at Alembic or use the HELP desk. Being the holidays there may be a little delay getting that info back to you.
Good luck.
