Title: Jack socket to be replaced on Series I bass
Post by: edmouk on August 30, 2007, 12:15:39 PM
Hi there
The jack socket on my 1977 Series I is broken. I managed to fix it temporarly but it'll soon need to be replaced. Does any kind of socket would do or do I need a specific Alembic model ?
Thnaks for your help and advice.

E mail Alembic for the part..it is the only way to ensure a high quality component that is right for the job..that would be the first thing i would do

I agree with Terry; you should get an exact replacement from Alembic.

Thanks very much ! I was just asking because I'm from France and unfortunately, there's NO Alembic dealers in this pathetic country (musically speaking !)

I pretty sure you can order directly from the shop (http://www.alembic.com/family/contact.html).
