Hey folks!
I'm thinking about getting an Alembic F-2B, but there are some questions:
There's no D.I. Out. I play alot of live shows and a D.I. Out is a must for me. Is it possible to put a D.I. Box between the F-2B and the power amp? Putting it between Bass and the Preamp is not an option because I want to get the full effect ;-).
There is no FX loop, so how can I put some FX in this setup?
How do Alembicicans usually handle this?
Would be nice if someone could help me!
Thanks!

In my setup, the effects are after the F-2B, and the DI is after the effects and before the power amp.

I don't run effects, but I use the mono out to the power amp, and send the A & B outs through a Radial JDI to the FOH. Has worked very well so far. I get post EQ to the FOH and he's happy with the signal clarity and level.
Before running this set up, I conversed with Alembic. There's no problem with running all 3 outs at the same time, you just may notice a drop in volume. I have not.
Based on what I've heard (beware, most of it I don't fully understand), to get the full output from the F2B, be sure that the input impedance of whatever the F2B is feeding is at least 10K ohms.
FWIW.....my $.02
