Does anyone have a recommendation for Alembic work?
Thanks.

When I lived in the Chicago area I used Gene Liberty (Sheridan) for most of my work. I also used Rick Cremer (North Aurora) with good results. Rick also built a decent guitar for the lead guitarist in my band the the time. Both are still in business as far as I know.

I've heard that Dan Lakin's (Lakland) shop does custom and setup work for whatever you bring in, and he's one heck of a nice guy..

I've heard that Specimen does some great work:

Also, Bass Club Chicago or Make'n Music should be able to help you out.
