Looking for advice her..just joined another band and the guitarists Peavey combo which has two tubes makes a lot of noise(like frying) on power up but disappears with time.
He has gigged it regular and has had it two years, I have guessed it could be the tubes which need replacement.
If it is the tubes would they need biasing after replacement or are most tubes well matched these days.
Grateful as always for everyones advice
