Hi all, I am just in the process of acquiring Alembic Club-ite fernandobicho's beautiful walnut-topped Elan 5 (check out pics in my Swap Shop: Items Wanted ad for a black Elan/Europa 5 - I know its not black!). It has a personalised black after-market TRC (with a large letter 'N' inset) and I would like to put it back to an original Alembic brass TRC. Could one of you good folks tell me how I get hold of one please?

You can order one with Mica at Alembic's site...

Mark, you'll have to contact Mica; The truss rod covers are usually engraved with the serial number of the guitar, and Alembic is understandably quite particular about issuing new ones. I'm sure she has a process for this, so I'd contact her Tuesday after the Labor Day holiday here in the States.

Thanks folks! The bass is documented on Alembic Club (davehouck found a couple of threads about it including Serial number) so hopefully authenticity is not an issue and Mica will be cool with this.

You'll have to send the old cover in to Alembic so they can line the screw holes up perfectly (that was what I was told when I enquired about replacing my epic cover with brass).
