Title: Broken Heart on Skorpion Distallate 6 String
Post by: klemtone on March 23, 2011, 08:22:03 PM
I just became a proud owner of this beautiful looking and playing Alembic. It is my second, my first was a 4 string fretless Orion. But as you can see in the picture the heart on the end was broken in transit. Was thinking of taking to David Gage. Do you all concur?

For some reason the image didn't make it. I'm really sorry to hear about the break. David Gage certainly has a reputation of great skill.

We saw number 12 being brought back to life after broken its headstock, and it is a structural part under great string tension. I believe it is fairly simple to glue wood parts back together if you still have the broken end with you.
