Title: Another LED issue
Post by: hgregs on October 22, 2011, 04:20:18 PM
1hr before gig... i knew my LEDs were out, but i figured a quick 9v change would do it... nope. they're still dead. i assume they are powered from the single battery compartment ('94 europa). any thoughts?

The single battery is for powering your controls, pups, quick tone switches ect.Try swapping out the four 9v's for the LED's.

Greg, Are you speaking about the rectangular compartment on the upper bout that holds four 9 volt batteries as shown here (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=9137) in the 3rd and 4th pictures?  The single compartment above the main cavity runs the preamp package and the four batteries are for LEDs.  Hope that is all that is wrong.  Art

36V seems an awful lot for 11 or so LED's, my SIMS LED's run on one 9V and powers the preamps!
