Title: Help! need 1/4" replacement jack. No reply at all
Post by: fretlessbassman on November 30, 2011, 01:18:25 PM
I need to replace the input jack on my '95 Spoiler. I have tried calling/emailing Alembic, but they simply don't reply.

I know the part is a Switchcraft part with 4 solder lugs. It measures 3/4 long. I believe it is a 11NX. But I don't know what 'N' is and that defines the switch configuration.

Can anyone help? This is my main bass - I'm lost without it.

Hi Chris,

You will need the original jack to repair without modifying the cavity as we discussed on the 16th. I received an email on Monday with the picture of the cavity, thank you (I did not receive one on the 18th - we did have some ISP issues recently, so it could be from that).

Anyway, you need a 113L Switchcraft Littel jack. We have them here, and I'll call you shortly to see if you want to order one directly from us.

I was unable to get hold of an original Alembic jack here in norway, but my guitar tech talked me into installing a Yamaha jack. It was a direct replacement. Hope this helps.
