I was lucky enough to get a mint 92 Essence, but the look is somehow spoiled by the worn out Alembic logos on the pickups.
I would love to have suggestions to either
1.Find a way to repaint the gold logo (is it foil?)
2.Remove remaining logo so it looks even
3. Is there a way to get just the pickup covers from Alembic
The bass is so clean in almost every way that this little detail bothers me. If it was worn all over it wouldn't.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Nice bass!!
The pickups are usually cast as a unit with the covers. You could probably carefully mask that area and shoot some paint in there and then remove the flat surface paint with a small rag and some thinner, or get a fine brush and put some paint in there. Or maybe put some paint on a rag and rub it into the letters. Frankly, to me it just shows someone loved your bass enough to play it till some of the gold came off and it looks fine, but that is just me.
Enjoy it!

Thank you for the compliment gtrguy...
It is starting to grow on me too...I bought it from a very cool guy who owned her for more than 7 years, it was his baby never took it outside his house, we each drove 150 miles to meet; so maybe I should just leave it alone for nostalgia...
