Ok, so the passing of Luis Johnson recently got me thinking about what songs might have been recorded with an Alembic bass..
Here is one from the Brother's Johnson
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-ipH9Ws-zs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-ipH9Ws-zs)
Everyone knows Staley Clarke and Mark King recordings on Alembic, and of course lots of Grateful Dead ..
What else?

Metallica's Black Album and I think a lot of ...And Justice For All though I've read that was done with a Wal bass
~Taylor
-
Dixie Dregs, Sweet Comfort Band, Styx, Alan Holdsworth, James Taylor, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Crack The Sky, The Who, Led Zepplin, Flim & The BB's, Jefferson Airplane, Electromagnets.......
-
was sort of hoping for specific tracks...
For example, Entwistle played Alembic during a certain period, not thru out the 40 years.. not sure how much of it was live and how much on recorded tracks.. etc..
lets try and be more specific and stick with well known songs..

I've heard that Heart used the doubleneck on Barracuda, I can't verify that...someone here might be able to.
...and the electric guitar on Fame is an Alembic 12 string IIRC.
I'll add more as they bubble up ;)

Most of One Hot Minute by the Red Hot Chili Peppers was recorded with Flea using an Epic.

All songs are well known by fans of the band. Here's my favorite Electromagnets tune, Dry Ice, with Eric Johnson on guitar & Kyle Brock on his Series I - http://youtu.be/_pOi706essE (http://youtu.be/_pOi706essE)
If you just want commercial radio tunes, Styx had a ton of them with Chuck Panozzo on his Series I Scorpion, take your pick - http://youtu.be/faOJEUAGW6A (http://youtu.be/faOJEUAGW6A)

Mothers Finest The Wizard, Lakeside & Brick had bassists that played Alembics
Marvin Isley of the Isley Brothers played a Series bass on a 2 or 3 alboums.
ConFunkshun's guitarist Michael Cooper played a Series guitar
P-Funk Bassist Rodney Skeet Curtis played a number of Series basses & Michael Kid Funkedelic Hampton played various Alembic guitars.
The band Rose-Royce was marketed as wearing the best clothes & accessories and playing the best gear. Naturally, the bassist Jobe played a SII.

Any live Doobie Brothers from about 73-76. Tiran Porter. But even after he alembicized he still used a Fender in studio recordings.

The Allman Bros band bass players have used Alembic basses through the years. I don't know which tracks they were used on but I would suspect some of the tracks recorded when Lamar Williams or Allen Woody were in the band. I know they both used Alembics live and that Lamar used one with Sea Level until it was stolen. Here is a link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10BfFjk7LLE) to Lamar playing his Alembic with Sea Level.
Some Frank Zappa tracks and concerts where Tom Fowler played are on an Alembic. Tom also played bass for Jean Luc Ponty on a couple of his albums. Tom Fowler with Frank Zappa (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LszJ9sM3bbk) and with Jean Luc Ponty (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTrWQN1hRZk).

I'm surprised how loose Stanley's strings seem to be on that clip.

Here's the live Rhythm Stick with Norman Watt-Roy bringing the Alembic thunder, though he has a Moment of Derp in the intro. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBIRj3JW3h0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBIRj3JW3h0)
He and the late Charley Charles were one of the all-time great rhythm section duos.

Apparently Nathan East played his Series I on Eric Clapton's 'Behind The Sun' album which was my very first ever recording with him. Jeff Procaro played drums and you can hear the punchy sound of this bass on the song 'Forever Man', one of the singles from that album. This is the bass I played lead melody on my song 'Wildfire' with Hubert Laws on his hit album 'Family'.
This is from the text that was provided for the Series I that belonged to Nathan East (seems to me that Nathan East himself is selling the bass) on eBay:
