is there an authorizised luthier for alembic instruments in europe and if not, why? it seems like there are many alembic users here and it would be helpful to have a dependance here which could repeair at least little issues like a not working pot or others. it doesn't make sense to send the instrument over in every case. also it would be helpful to be able to get replacement parts ( especially eletronic items) here to be able to solve problems as fast as possible. i have a broken volume pot (the main volume pot) and it looks like it's gonna be a problem to get this fixed quickly, i need the bass ( my series II) for a broadcast session in about 2 weeks, any suggestiones? I don't know much about shipments to Europe, but I would think you could get a new pot rush shipped in less than two weeks. Any competent electric guitar repair person, or electronics person, should be able to easily swap out a pot. It's easy to do it yourself if you have any experience with a soldering iron. As they say, it ain't rocket science (though other aspects of Alembic's electronics may almost qualify as rocket science).
