Title: Upgrade
Post by: klinkepeter on December 18, 2015, 02:36:44 PM
i just gave my series II to the mothership for an upgrade, the bass is from 1990 and was kinda noisy so i couldn?t use it sometimes on stage, a friend of mine picked it up in Berlin and brought it to alembic, they made it in 9 days!, some new pick ups, a new main volume pot and a little cosmetic thing, i was really curious about the result and
i?m not exaggerating when i say, my expectationes were more then exceeded, not only the bass is as quiet as it can be, those new pick ups are fantastic, more growl, power and sustain, i can?t stop playing..., thanks Mary, Mica and Ron for making this happening so fast and excellent, now this bass is in perfect conditiones

Just gave my SII 5-string a little work-out prior to leaving for my day job this am - what a wonderful way to start the day.

If your upgrade sounds anything like that - you're one happy camper fer sure.

I immediately went to Like the original post here, and it's too bad that we can't do this here.

It's always worth waiting for good stuff from the mothership, and it's even better when you get it quickly!
