I'd love to play that bass through my rig to see what it's really capable of. Too many effects and other stuff going on with that video and the owner seems really nervous about his playing.  I have been thinking about an 8-string for a long long time now.

Sadly that is a common thing on youtube that reviewers of guitars (mainly) and basses on youtube hide the natural sound of an instrument under a blanket of multi effects so can't get an idea of it's natural sound.
