I had the pleasure of owing an MK standard with LEDs for a short period, and this made me remember how much I liked the lights.  Very sharp.  Enjoy!

Nice photograph!  I love the LED's.  I am new to Alembic, but already love the led's on my Tribute.  I thought it was showy at first, but realize how useful they are all the time, not to mention in a dark club.

The LED's are just too cool for school.

If you really want to check your technique, though, play in a pitch black room and see how well you do.  This will REALLY put some lead (or Led, depending on your practice tunes) in your pencil !

Yep, they're cool, and it's a nice photo too. I chose not to get them myself, on the theory that I played better when I wasn't looking... but if I were performing live, I might have chosen differently.

A couple of questions: were these installed by Alembic, or after-market? And what's with the lights by the tailpieces, is that typical and I just haven't been paying attention?

These are the basses of my friend Johnny. He installed fretfx leds on the side of his Spoiler and Martin Sims leds on the fingerboard of his series-1.
