Hey Bros:
I've been real busy but wanted to poke my head in here and say Hi! I found a picture of me and SN 74-52 I don't think I've posted here - it shows the beautiful mahogany wood marbling of the peghead face. . .I'll be having professional pics done the first week of April and of course I'll post them here first!
Hope you're all well. . .

Hi Jeff,
I'm happy you're still walking the surface of the earth!
Busy with music projects? Great to hear that!
You got my enthusiastic HI from this side of the pond!

Thanks Paul! Yeah, I've got a couple music projects going on and my band Glass has been rehearsing for a possible East Coast Debut at ProgDay this September. And I just undertook the deepest cleaning of my Alembic I had ever attempted. Every year I give my Baby "The Works" as I call it which is a complete oiling and brass cleaning. But this year I even took the brass bridge apart and cleaned all the pieces - what a chore! It had never been cleaned that way in it's 32 year life. Cleaning each of those tiny hand-cut adjustable brass pieces was hilarious. . made me thankful I'm a bassplayer not a six-string man(-; I'm going to try and post a couple detail shots from the picture above. . Hey Bros!!
Good to hear from you - was beginning to think ya'll had forgotten me(-; Though I couldn't blame you if you did. . been pretty neglectful with my attendance of late. . you all know how it is when you start gigging (and recording). . it's great to hear from ALL of you!! I hear our dear Brother Michael Dela has been around too! That?s GREAT! I was SO worried. Mica told me they're doing a restoration job for him on one of his Katrina-ized basses. That brought tears to my eyes. . NO ONE deserves it more than he. . he has been SO gracious and giving to me and my Small Standard . . almost since my very first post. In fact it was Michael that educated me about my own bass!
If you're out there Michael - I love ya Bro. . hope you and yours are all well and weathering the aftermath as well as can be expected. . if there?s ANYTHING I can do to help, please let me know!

And thanks for the comments about my Small Standard SN74-52. . I have been SO incredibly lucky getting this back in as near mint condition as is possible with a 32 year-old instrument - especially one that actually gets *played* and is not just a museum piece. If you don't know the story behind this guitar any of the members here can tell you so I won't bore the group with yet another repeat of it. .
Thanks all of you again for checking in. . love ya all Bros. .
