Interesting how the Omega has evolved over the years. Could this be considered a 'shallow Omega'? Absolutely beautiful instrument...how much would this piece of history bring at sale/auction???

Probably a pretty penny..being that it's #13, and in such great condition, and probably all original..I don't know. My guess is going to be overridden by someone who knows what theyre talking about, so I'll leave it to them!

There appears to have been quite a bit of evolution from Keavin's Old #12 to this one. I wonder if there's an Alembic missing link out there somewhere!

Bill - The fretless bass in this thread is a 1974. It was made a couple of years after Keavin's bass. It's serial number is 74o13. The o being an alpha and not a number.
