On the bass website I run, an italian member has put a MK up for sale. Its a nice bass only on closer inspection of the photos there's a hair line crack in the facing wood which looks to be repaired. As far as I can tell from the photo, it affects ONLY the facing wood.

I have to say, I would be very surprised if a flawed piece of wood was used at the factory. Is this possible?
