Well I guess we all want to know, what happened?

I imagine they've just been extra busy. With the price increase, they got a ton of orders in December, so January has probably been catch-up month. There will probably be one... just a little late.

I couldn't know for sure, but here's my guess...
Setting these up takes some time and isn't at the top of the priority list, at least not compared to helping customers make design decisions, taking orders, and building dreams. I suspect that general holiday season complications, Valentino's departure, and the sales rush associated with a January price increase created a little too much real work.
There's always another month. Take the opportunity to page through the archives and recall some of the beauties of the past.

That about sums it up. Additionaly, now that I've finished with my less glamorous duties of preparing the W-2s, 1099s, quarterly and end of year tax returns, I'm working on February's Featured Custom.
There have been a couple of other times where we've decided that other things were a higher priority than the Featured Custom. It's not that often, and I appreciate your understanding.
At least I got the new prices up, and the Custom Quote generator updated (including fixing a defect that's been there since it went live 6 years ago - thanks Dave!). There's also some new stuff on the Skylark model page that I will the expand to the other models throughout the year.

I used to enjoy very much when Alembic would post a Featured Construction page. I would check in faithfully everyday to watch another instrument brought to life. Any chance of reviving that page?
