Title: Need Case For 86 Persuader
Post by: djmckaytx on April 16, 2007, 07:18:57 AM
Anyone have any ideas on where I might pick up a hard case for an '86 Persuader?  Would of course prefer an Alembic case, but would rather not continue to use the gig bag that was purchased with it.  Thanks for all the help

Welcome!
Is the Persuader Spoiler shaped? I use a Justincase and a Ken Smith case for my Spoilers. I don't like the Justincase, it's too wide. The Ken Smith case is great! Perfect fit and a very solid case.

Thanks for the welcome and the case tip.

Yes, it is spoiler shaped with the P&J pickups and three knobs.

Still waiting to receive it (an e-bay purchase) and am a little curious about scale length and the handling of the electronics since this is my first Alembic.  I have played a passive-wired '85 P-Bass with a maple neck for the last 15 years or so.  I know how to play funk style, but generally play typewriter style (a la John Entwistle).  Also wondering about strings and setup.

Any hints here would also be appreciated.  :D
