Hi Paul; there's also a thread started here (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=19508).

This is almost the identical post that threatened to start a board war yesterday.  Before anything political even starts here, I believe the point of this thread is to give everyone access to some good music that is happening right now.  While members may support or oppose the cause or organizers associated with this concert, let's all keep that to ourselves while on these boards and just appreciate the music as music.

Dave, it might not be an awful idea to close this thread to further posting (if possible) to maintain a clean link to the show minus any debate, and to reserve the thread you linked to above for discussion of the music.

Agreed cuz the show is almost over anyway. I was just paying most attention to see if I would see any Alembics myself. I am keeping my own personal views to myself.

But you have a good point. I didn't think about that. Sorry, P

If you want to check out (one of) my band's Live Earth shows, there are mp3s at www.downtownshakedown.com (http://www.downtownshakedown.com) ... Lots of Grateful Dead, but I have to admit I was playing my Modulus Q5 TBX that evening. I was hesitant to take the Series I camping in humid weather!

We're playing a Garcia tribute show Saturday, August 4, which we'll be streaming live online. There will be details on the site soon!
