The screws on my Tribute's control cavity plate don't screw into the wood, but into small threaded bushings. I imagine all Alembics have this feature. I want to get similar screws/bushings to mount the pickup rings on other brands of guitar because I swap pickups a lot. I've looked everywhere for small hardware pieces like this, for example AllParts and StewMac, but all I can find is bushings for tuning machines and bridges. Anyone know where I can get screws and bushings appropriately sized for mounting pickup rings?

The threaded inserts for plates are custom made for us. You can special order them (in sets with the screws) by calling us at 707-523-2611.

Thanks, that will be a huge help. I had assumed this was a common sort of thing I'd find in a hardware store, but I've discovered that's not at all the case.

Mica, I forgot to ask when I ordered this morning: what kind of driver do those inserts require? If it requires a T-shaped driver made in the shop using one of the screws, can I add the driver to my order?
