Title: Series I weight and body width

Could any body give me the weight and body width on  Series 1 4 string bass, I am looking at buying one I found but would like to know a little more about the weight and body width the bass im looking at is a 1977 series 1

First this would be a question for Mica, and secondly the weight and width of an Alembic Series One would be different depending on the body style (cut), wood density, and the wood combinations.  
 
I am sure if you gave her the serial numbers to the said 1977 bass in question, she would have a production data on those characteristics you request. The Alembics company, ship basses on a daily bases therefore, I am sure this would be a fairly easy answer.  
 
You might just find other and more interesting things about the 1977 bass too.
