Greetings!
I'm trying to trouble shoot an issue with my Series instrument, are there any Alembic owners in the Denver area with a working DR5 power interface, that I might test against?
We don't have any dealers out here that I know of else I would drop by a shop and A-B the problem there.

Email me at edwin@indra.com (mailto:edwin@indra.com). I have 2 factory power supplies and have built some of my own, so I am familiar with them. I live in Boulder and you are welcome to come by and see what's what!

Hey Adam,
I'm also in Boulder and have a couple of power supplies. ezramon@att.net (mailto:ezramon@att.net)

Edwin,
You've built some of your own? How difficult would this be for my electronics guy? I have what I believe to be the original for my '76, but I'd love to have a a rack mount version. They are just so expensive...
By the the way, I live in Jackson Hole, which is not so far from Denver, by western standards. Not as close as Boulder, though.

I gotst one my brother built fer me after someone pillaged the little blue sucker from his parked van. I believe it is a rather simple proposition for a competent electronics guy to design and construct. Mine sits in an ugly and ancient little Sony camera remote PS unit. If memory serves, it is a +9/-9 dc supply and unbalanced audio breakout from the cable.

If all goes to plan I will check my bass against Edwin's DR5 this Saturday.
Thanks for the help.

Turns out that my 5 pin cable wasn't carrying the treble pickup.
At least it is the lightest of parks to ship back to Santa Rosa.
Thanks again to Edwin and everybody,
Adam

I'm glad I could help, but I feel that I have been remiss in my hospitality in not opening up the cable and fixing it for you. It really is a quick fix assuming there isn't a break in the actual cable. It's usually just the connector. Take it to Fat Willie or Scooter down in Denver and they'll hook you up quick!
