Hello All-I just bought this Alembic-type guitar at a pawnshop-I have no idea what it is.The logo is a pearl S over a treble cleff,on a black back ground. The bridge looks like an Alembic.Nice wood-flame,birds-eye,etc.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!(http://club.alembic.com/Images/393/17330.jpg)

Looks like it might be an early Spector from the logo description and looking at that upper horn.

You think so? There is no serial# or writing on it. Pick ups are Dimarzio. Some of the work looks crude, like almost home made. Thanks.(http://club.alembic.com/Images/393/17334.jpg)

Yep, it's a late '70s Spector. It's got a few too many strings, but overall a handsome instrument (LOL).

Thanks- I was just at a Spector site-it looks similar to his early stuff.I sent them a pic.I didn't know he made guitars. Thanks a lot for the help.
