Can any of you recommend a guitar tech or repair shop in NYC that you'd trust with an Alembic Tribute? Thanks.

guys---i think i can help you out. i have a tech who has been working on my guitars for over 30 years. his name is jeff bloch. his shop is located in park slope, brooklyn. the address is 1700 10th ave at 17th street. the phone # is 718 369-7080. he's the only one i'd ever trust my epic to. if you decide to call or visit mention my name and he'll give you better service. make sure you talk to jeff only.

Hello,
Another would be either myself, a multi Alembic owner and former luthier for Sadowsky Guitars, or Norio Imai, a master builder, formerly with Sadowsky with over 20 years of building and maintenance. I would bow out to Norio, as he has taken utterly destroyed Bennedetto jazz boxes and restored them to pristine condition.
His shop, for that matter, is located in Manhattan on 22nd between 8th & 9th avenues I believe. Email me if you need more information.

Not to take any bread out of the mouth of a fine luthier, but did you try to do any work on it yourself? I was always nervous about working on my gear, then out of dire need I gave it a shot. I've been doing my own adjustment for almost 20 years. I haven't screwed anything up yet! Besides, Alembic nuts, dual rods, and bridges give you a lot of options to get it just right. Just a thought.
