Title: Zombie Thread.
Post by: jazzyvee on November 07, 2025, 12:56:50 AM
I logged into Talk bass today for the first time in ages and a zombie thread about how expensive our basses has been revived.
These threads stir the extremely sarcastic side of my nature which i hold back on to avoid adding fuel to the fire or attracting any unwanted personal focus.

Talkbass is a pointless echo chamber.

It takes a conscious effort to recognize how similar we are and how respecting each other can only bring good.  Meanwhile marketing and media (mainstream and social) seems focused on division and pitting us against each other.

It’s easy to be ignorant and combative, it takes fortitude to have compassion and understanding.  Deception and censorship in society plays into a chaotic environment that can be readily manipulated.

This community is beautiful, I often ponder if the “hippy” ratio here influences the behaviors within.

I, on the other hand, don't ponder; I see it as a self-evident truth.  And I find it most groovy.
