Title: Pure slice of Heaven (Jerry six srting)
Post by: Quasar1 on October 06, 2025, 04:41:15 AM
I am fairy new around these parts, but I would imagine this Ax has been discussed here in length many times!

I can also imagine Peter opening the case, pluggin in and tellin folks, "stand back, your gonna get a little slice of Heaven"!

it went for $62,500 USD  :o

That guitar has surfaced here a couple times... I'll hunt for the threads later. Or y'all can... it's been at least 5 years I think. Maybe more.

Just curious; does anyone know how many were made in '72?

Buncha' pictures of #13 in this thread- https://club.alembicguitars.com/index.php?topic=5628.0

I don't know how many were completed in 1972, but I think quite a few were begun and finished later. #27 is a 1973 number... and #17 is a 1972. That leaves a bit of filling in.

Sure is a beauty (pretty sure I say that a lot around here  :o )

Last I heard Keavin and #12 were out in Las Vegas.  Hope all is good with him.
