The seller doesn't seem to have any knowledge about Alembics based on the description. I suspect the 1/4" is wired for stereo which is why it wasn't working. Even at a lower price I would deduct whatever the cost of a DS-5 is these days.

dunno if you've ever had yer cavity searched.  kinda like a free shot at mooning the cops.
