I see Stevie Nicks had to cancel all shows for August / September. Looks like she broke her shoulder. I'm wondering if its from a fall?

Ouch!

My neighbor (80+ yo) broke her shoulder last year. She is still recovering 18 months later......slower recovery at that age. She tripped on an area rug and hit a wall.

Old people. What are ya gonna do? At least she didn't break a hip. Lindsey didn't trip her, huh ?
The worst part is I'm 70, and this sort of thing reminds me I don't bounce NEAR like I used to.

About six weeks ago, I had to change out the water heater in the house. Not really a big job, I've done it before. Don't really love plumbing work but I'll do it before I'll pay a guy to do it while I watch.
So anyway, I got the old one out, and the new one in without much drama. Got it filled and flushed, powered up, good to go. Cleaned up the tools and straightened up. Time to get rid of the old one. I put it on the cardboard box the new one came in, and slid it through the kitchen and out the door to the porch, where I tipped it over to roll it down to the road for pickup. What you gotta' understand about this is that my side yard is a long slope down to a private gravel road, a couple hundred yards long, that leads to the State road where the trash and junk pickup happens weekly or bi-weekly.
I thought I'd just let gravity do the work and let the water heater roll most of the way. It was working... except that it was turning towards a neighbor's fence. So I tried to slow its roll and turn it to port. That thing had maybe 8-10 gallons left in it I couldn't drain, plus some sediment... roughly 80 lbs. It wanted to go straight. The slope was growing steeper. I was getting more aware of this by the second, so I applied more force to the effort. Just about the time the water heater made its next revolution, the brass pop-off valve on the side hooked my work glove... jerked me practically out of my boots, over the top of it, rolled over me, flung me into the gravel road, and it kept going.
After the tweety-birds all flew away, I realized I was cut up pretty good, left shoulder had briefly dislocatedand gone back, now squishing around, (happened before... a few times) and I couldn't make a fist with my right hand. I found my hat and my glasses (unbelievably not broken), put them back on, and started dealin' with things.
I ain't but 56. It happens fast, hurts bad, and lasts a while. It didn't really hurt until the next morning. Going on a limb to guess Stevie was probably not plumbing in a water heater... and she does have a couple years on me. I hope she gets going again soon just the same.

Well, that'll harsh your mellow.
As an old gimp who can't do jack anymore (and who would hate to see you become the same), I have to ask - was the savings worth the pain?
Take care of yourself, heal up good and proper, and let young, sturdy professionals do things like that so you can keep working your magic on ailing instruments, my friend.
