My band, "Dead Enough", will be playing at Grateful Dead Night for the Oakland Ballers minor league baseball team on July 25th. I'm also helping put the program together. They've asked me to come up with trivia questions to ask people in the stands between innings. I'm shooting for questions that will interest Deadheads, but not so esoteric that only the extreme fanatics will know the answers. Me and My Uncle was an early part of the repertoire and remained in the rotation throughout. Most played original tune was Sugar Mag. Another trivia question, who wrote Me and My Uncle? There’s a agreat story behind it!

John Phillips - while blind drunk on tekillya.
Judy Collins was there, loved it, and ran out & recorded it. When John heard it, he asked who wrote it; she said "You did." He denied it - no memory of it whatsoever. Though he later did say that his memory got clearer with every royalty check.......
Peter (who agrees - a great story!)
