Beautiful Bass!  The wood card has me scratching my head…..isn’t that serial number a little low for 2023?  My 2004 Spyder is 13333. This 2023 Darling is 14888. That’s only 1555 units in 19 years?  (82 units / year)

Serial number looks good to me, my most recent basses: 2010 Elan = 14105, 2023 SII Europa = 14809 :-)

Used to call these 'East-Meets-West' electronics. Maybe that's an Alembic colloquialism? (I could swear it's on my build sheet...) The description is more descriptive of function though. I honestly wouldn't know what it meant if I didn't hang around here.

It's a beautiful bass, and a shame they have to sell for unfortunate reasons. Is it just me, or are the horn points a bit more curled than usual?

Yes I think so, and I think the general shape of the horns are different, I like it 😊
