Pretty Distillate, with a few custom tweaks... still got all the paperwork.

That's some expensive paperwork!

Highly optimistic price. I think you could find a nice series bass for that price.
However, the market as usual will decide.

Yeah. I didn't post because I thought it was a great deal. I don't believe there are any online anymore... it's all pretty much a flipper's marketplace. I just thought it was an interesting combination of specs there.
•short-scale
•Distillate electronics
•custom body (Omega-cut Spoiler I think...)
•extra accent laminate, top & back laminates (Distillate standard is only top layer on body core)
•elbow/tummy cut.
•triple purpleheart neck laminates
That's a lot of extras. I don't know what it costs now, but it damn-skippy ain't cheep.

And a good number of Series I basses available going for that price or less.
Apparently there are many sellers who believe that Alembics are like fine wines (and to a certain extent they are for those of us who love them) and accumulate greater value as they age
similar to a 1984 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti La tache Grand Cru Monopole, Cote de Nuits, a bottle of which currently goes for a bit under $4,000.

I agree with EOH, that is a cool ass bass! Nice job on the design and the lil things, I like that body contour for the forearm action.
