Hello, guitarist and occasional bassist here - 27, from the midwest. Came to Alembic via my love of the Dead; currently modifying a current production Guild Starfire bass to be inspired by the ones Alembic modified in the early '70s and saving up for a player grade Series I bass (someday!). Also delving into the world of the Alembic Stratoblaster and hoping to add one for the next incarnation of a '62 style Strat partscaster I built.

jtex has suspended shipping to the U.S. based on "tariffs and uncertainty".

Sigh... I'll keep the quiet part to myself (but some of you might be able to hear me thinking it).

Underhill looks like a good US-based alternative. I've read some good things about them over on Talkbass.
