Title: Does Alembic Blaster Noticeably Change The Standard Guitar Sound When Bypassed?

In a typical Fender Stratocaster style vintage guitar, if the Blaster switch is off, would you expect the sound to be noticeably different than if the guitar had been wired with the usual/typical 250k pots but no Blaster installed?

Confused if the guitar would still get the high frequency benefits when in bypass mode, compared to just a stock Fender configuration that could get more loaded down by things like longer guitar cables, effects, etc...

If I understand the website correctly it seems to be indicating that there is not benefit when in bypass mode.

But this August 21 2024 Alembic Instagram posts says this:
"In addition to on-demand boost with the flick of a switch, Ron Wickersham’s design removes the capacitance of your guitar cord so all cable lengths sound the same. An added bonus is the volume control won’t affect the tone anymore."

No - you have to have the Blaster on to get the benefits. In the bypass mode it should sound and behave as it originally did.
