Isn’t this the place that had that beautiful cocobolo Classico for sale a few years ago?  I was tempted….but then I would automatically be committed to an institution for owning 2 Classicos.  :P

I believe Austin was the original owner of that Classico. That was quite the thread too.

I'm just not letting myself think about them anymore. I'd love to have a 5-string Classico made to match my Custom fretless, but I'll simply never live long enough to A.) see it come to fruition,  or B.) get any serious use from it. And if that don't cover it, there's always C.) I own four upright basses, two of which are equipped with electronics. That's in addition to a pair of Alembic 5-strings and a pair of Series basses. Play more, dream less.
