Title: Screw size for truss rod covers?
Post by: alembic83 on February 06, 2025, 08:35:07 PM
Hello, does anyone know the types of screws I would need for a truss rod cover on a 1987 Persuader? It looks like they are set screws? Are they something I could pick up at any hardware store? Thank you in advance.

They might be hard to find at a bigbox hardware store, but the local Ace Hardware here has trays of tiny machine screws. You can always get a couple from Alembic.

Ok the screws they sell here should do just fine! Thanks!

Edit: until I saw the shipping price ($22). Yikes! Maybe I’ll try Ace first and see what I can find locally…

Just measured mine: 3-48, length 3/8" flat head Phillips.

Good Luck!
