Title: Nick Smith
Post by: Glynn on January 27, 2025, 02:57:45 PM
Not everyone will know Nick Smith.  He sadly died this week aged 54.  He was a bass player from Peterborough UK and in a very successful tribute band called Genesis Connected.  His talent and pedigree is listed if you search for him.  He was a truly lovely man - full of talent, humour and joy.  I knew him.  He was a massive collector of bass guitars and worked for and with Sims LEDs and Enfield guitars for some considerable time.  Sorely missed by all who knew him.

I also knew him, not well, but enough to recognise each other from various bass and guitar shows where he was on the Simms & Enfield stands for many years, and of course the owned a few alembics over the years too. I did read about his passing on FB recently. So sad, he was such a nice friendly guy and a superb bass player with a great sense of humour.
