I have what I think are Tribute type electronics/pickups. Two Alembic humbucker shapes, two off/on/boost mini-switches, two volume pots, two filter pots, summing circuit as well.
Would like to add a middle Alembic Strat shaped pickup.
Friend of mine who makes tube amps is going to take a look but wanted to see if I could get some insight before getting together with him.
Hoping to do it on my own (with his help), if possible.
Basically, would like to add another mini-switch to have the ability to turn the middle Alembic Strat shaped pickup on and off.
Any tips?
Happy New Year :-)

Tributes and Furthers always have 3 pickups, so you have something different there. Sounds like Darling electronics.
How do you intend to operate the tone for the newly added pickup?

Thank you for the reply, and clarification, Mica.
I’m not sure how the tone would work for the third pickup.
Maybe it could go through one of the two filters. Figuring there would be some limitations though, of course.
Going to post a pic of the state the guitar is in at the moment. It’s a work in progress :-)
Partscaster.

A friend of mine got it working with the extra Strat-sized Alembic pickup.
He added an On-Off-On switch.
Hooked it up to where each humbucker sized pickup already connects to.
Can't use that middle pickup by itself, but that's ok with me. Have the ability now to add middle pickup to either bridge or neck, or all three on together.
Happy to have everything working now :-)
Thank you for the earlier reply, Mica.
