Those of you who own Further or Tribute instruments, what do they weigh? And how many batteries do they take? Thank you.

I don't own either, but the product page for the Further says that it averages 8 pounds.

And for the Tribute, 8.5 pounds.

Those are averages. Different woods can vary significantly, and even two guitars with the same woods can vary in weight.
My recollection is that they each require one 9v battery.

If the guitar has side LEDs, then extra batteries would be needed which would add a bit more weight.
-
The LEDs on my Further take four 9v batteries.
Bill, tgo

Note that average weights are just that- any specific instrument can weigh more or less. Particularly true for Tributes in Cocobolo - that's a very dense wood.
There's one 9V battery for the electronics. There's 3 or 4 for the LEDs depending on the color.

Thank you everyone. Mica, is there an avg for the cocobolo tributes?

My 82' Series 1 weighs in at 10lbs 5 oz

There's a Koa Further on Reverb right now that states it weighs 7 lbs 5 oz. It is painfully beautiful - almost hard to look at. The ~ 30K tag does whack some sense back into my dazzled brain.
