Alice Brock, 83, 2nd-most-famous woman of our generation, passed away 11/22/24 from COPD
Yes, you do know her; maybe she didn't have "Something" and "Layla" written about her, but she did run a restaurant in Stockbridge, MA, and live in an abandoned church nearby the restaurant with her husband Ray and Facha the dog.

Rectified a gross error just now. I realized I Never bought Alice’s Restaurant! A perfect tune for bird-cookin’ this Thursday. I first really heard the live version in college when a bunch of us were celebrating thanksgiving at a classmates house. First time without family…. Just a bunch of us who couldn’t afford to fly home. Amazon brings it to the door tomorrow.
