I would like to say hi and talk about any and all info pertaining to my Series I converted to a Series ii bass. It is a 1975, # 238. It is a very early model. It is zebrawood front and back and headstock. CURRENT master vol post is dated 1978. Thinking that would be when it was upgraded. I love the bass. It is an amazing instrument. Mine weighs 10.80 #'s, large scale, 34 inch. A true beauty. I have reached out to the nice and busy people at the shop but they are busy people. I know. I'm just looking for some history, build sheets, former owners, ect... thanks in advance and have a great day!

Welcome to the camp Blair.
Good times for you. Do as Dave suggested to posting the serial number. A lot of passion here for these fine instruments.

Welcome, Blair, beautiful bass :)
For photos, I think it might be the one currently for sale on reverb

I don't know if Blair is still hanging around or moved on, but an interesting numerical coincidence, we had just discussed 75-237, the immediate bass before their 75-238 here:

Another long-scale Standard Point with a zebrawood top. 75-240 is another. I've never seen 75-239, but one wonders if it's another. Could be totally different. Could be a guitar.
