Persuader in Santa Rosa, good price. I know nothing more.

This one came through my shop a few months back. One volume control was badly replaced (this one is volume-volume-filter) and non-functional, I re-kludged in another one since parts for this particular harness are not available. It plays nicely and would be really nice with a master volume-blend kit installed.

Hi Kent,
Tell me
About this master volume blend
Kit please. Would that be something you could do or would it need to be done at the factory?
Thanks,
Tim

Tim - Kent can get the pan preamp (https://store.turbify.net/alembic/panpreamp.html) for you an install it.
Kent - I actually have the volume pots for 2-volume Activator repairs again.
-
Great! I’m seriously considering it. I do like it as is - I blend in just a bit of the Jazz pickup ( love the P!), but a master volume would be nice.

Another question for you, Mica.
If I get the serial number to you are you able to find out what woods are under its sleek black finish?
-
This bass was no longer listed on sf craigslist as of two days ago. Sorry that you missed out tsarter, I thought maybe you had bought it. It is so rare to see an Alembic listed at a fair and reasonable price, definitely need to move quickly when that happens.
-
I did buy it. That’s why it’s no longer listed!
I am REALLY liking it. Going to use it at one of my gigs this weekend.
-
Cool, I was hoping you had bought it and you did. Sounds like a good fit and a keeper for you. Enjoy!
-
Way cool! If I lived near there, I would have snagged it as well.
-
We can look in the file, sure!
-
Great!
Serial number is
86 P3849
Thank you!
Tim
