For quite some time my '90 Elan (with Elan plus electronics) has had very low output from the bridge pickup. I did some troubleshooting and it seems that the pickup is fine, the bridge pickup gain circuit is the problem. That's likely a good thing. The only active component I can see is a 1988 vintage Harris Op Amp, A3-5144-5. I'm wondering if these parts are available from Alembic or elsewhere?

We would now use a TLE2024 for the opamp, but we now offer a small circuit card that plugs in the same socket that has two 2022 ICs (works the same as one 2024), and a few other parts for RF filtering. You can contact me by phone or email to order either one.
The 2022/2024 IC are also much lower drain. in 1990 the low drain chips were still too noisy. These work well and extend the battery life from about a month to 6-12 months.
